How does MP3Juice work?

MP3Juice uses the YouTube API to provide video results directly from YouTube. When you search on MP3 Juice, you can preview videos before deciding to download them as MP3 or MP4 files. Our servers handle the transcoding process in real time to provide smooth playback and compatibility with your device and network.

Can I use the downloaded file anywhere?

No, the downloaded file is intended for personal use only. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from using the file for other purposes. Our service allows you to download content that is freely available on the web. The files are copyrighted by their respective owners. We do not store or cache any files on our servers; our web application only acts as a proxy.

Why is the audio quality low?

We believe the available audio quality is sufficient for a service intended for listening or playback only.

Is this service free?

Yes. MP3Juice does not charge users for playing videos. However, standard data charges for Internet access may apply depending on your carrier.

How do I view videos in full screen?

On the playback page, click the video you want to watch. In your phone's media player menu, make sure the "Full screen" option is selected.

I cannot watch videos on my device. What should I do?

Make sure that your phone supports video playback. Also check that your carrier does not block video playback.

Why do I get "Error encountered during XML parse" on my BlackBerry?

Make sure your browser emulation mode is set to "Firefox" under the browser options. You can also try installing Opera Mini for a better viewing experience.

What if the media player hangs or my device crashes?

Your device memory may be full. In your browser menu, go to "Options" and select "Cache Operations" to clear the cache. If this does not help, you may need to reset your device.

Why can't I watch large videos?

Your carrier or Internet connection may limit the playback size. We provide an option to watch the video in 1-minute parts. On the playback page, click Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and so on.

I'm using a BlackBerry and my videos only play for 10 seconds.

You may be using the native browser on your device. Try using the Media Net browser instead.

I can hear audio but I don't see an image on my BlackBerry.

Make sure your browser emulation mode is set to "BlackBerry" (Browser Menu → Options → Emulation Mode → BlackBerry).

Why can't I watch videos on my BlackBerry 8700?

The BlackBerry 8700 series does not include a built-in media player, so video playback is not supported. You can try installing a third-party media player.

Why aren't MP4 videos working?

MP4 videos are encoded using H.264 Baseline Profile Level 3 video and HE-AAC v2 audio. Make sure your phone supports these codecs. Alternatively, you can use the 3GP Hi video option, which is supported by more devices.

Why don't all videos have MP4 Video and MP4 Audio versions?

Only the most-watched videos usually have these versions because encoding MP4 Video and MP4 Audio, especially with H.264 and HE-AAC codecs, takes a considerable amount of time.
